Education & experience
Jamal graduated from the University of Sussex in 2019 with a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science. His passion for IP originated from an essay during his undergraduate degree. He was tasked with producing an essay on the effects of compulsory licensing on pharmaceuticals. During his research he became fascinated by the power of intellectual property rights despite its intangible nature.
This led him to pursue an MSc in Management of Intellectual Property at Queen Mary University of London in 2020, gaining a Distinction. The course also included the Post Graduate Certificate in IP.
